WHO IS JAMES FIRTH?

James Firth is a registered nurse, a good son, a passionate lover, a pretty good tipper and also a standup comedian.

He is a regular at the Comedy Connection and has opened for Mark Normand, Jessica Kirson, Emo Philips & Luis J Gomez. Recently, James toured with Bob Marley, performing in theaters all across New England. He’s also made multiple appearances on Rogue Island Comedy Festival & Don’t Tell Comedy shows.

James is well-known for his observational and dry style of comedy. He has and will perform in almost any venue, whether that be at a brewery, a bar, a VFW hall or even a nursing home. With his silly, self-deprecating style that often pokes fun at his awkwardness, James is able to work clean if needed, making him one of the most sought-after hosts in Rhode Island and beyond over the past few years.

Make no mistake though, he is no stranger to darker and dirtier subject matters, which often relate to his “hands-on” experience working in nursing homes and hospitals. With his smooth delivery and great timing, James has proven that he can get big laughs in any setting, all while staying true to himself.

(Did we mention that he’s also extremely awkward?)
